combine

Inspired by projects like Richie Hawtin's DE9: Closer to the Edit and software like Ableton's Live, I created combine in Max/MSP to allow me to play with the idea of loop-based DJ-style mixing.

• download combine v1.0 for Macintosh
• Max/MSP Runtime Version is required for combine.

help

1. download combine
2. download the max/msp runtime (make sure it's the Max 4 / MSP 2 version)
3. create a folder called "loops" in the Max/MSP Runtime folder
4. put your audio loops in that folder

combine: the recording

The recording "combine", which I mixed live with combine, is comprised of pieces of my own recorded material, much of it unreleased. "combine" is released on Ypsi United as part of the Dispersion Series.
