Originally produced for the short-lived Ypsilanti United label, this is a 21-minute mashup of Bill Van Loo tracks. I contributed "combine" to the Dispersion Series on Ypsi United. Inspired by projects like Richie Hawtin's DE9: Closer to the Edit and software like Ableton's Live, I created combine using a Max/MSP patch that allows me to play with the idea of loop-based DJ-style mixing. |
